Having the perfect photographer for our wedding was high on our list of priorities, and we are so happy that we hired Vanessa. She’s so easy to work with, an excellent communicator, and truly so down to earth.
Our wedding package included either a complimentary engagement shoot or a bridal boudoir session. I opted for the boudoir shoot, which I had never done before. I was super nervous going into that, but it turned out to be so much fun. Vanessa is the ultimate hype woman! She gave me direction on how I could pose, and made me feel so confident in my own skin.
On our wedding day, we were immediately comfortable with her and felt like we could be ourselves in front of the camera. We felt like we had known her for years. I would describe her energy as calm, yet vibrant. It was exactly what we needed to help get through the nerves of our big day.
And she is efficient!! We got our wedding album back in what felt like record time and we are absolutely thrilled with the photos! The quality of the images are incredible. We gave Vanessa very little instruction in terms of what we were wanting for photos .. we trusted her artistic vision and were not disappointed in the slightest. She did a spectacular job capturing how magical it all felt and we are stoked to get them made into a book.

I first reached out to Vanessa in 2022 to inquire about a boudoir session. I still look back on that experience so fondly and not just because of the stunning photos, but because of the incredibly safe and welcoming environment she created. It was then when I saw how talented Vanessa’s eye was for capturing beauty and intimacy. That photo gallery was a birthday gift and let’s just say, it did the trick. He put a ring on it that same year!
It was because of that experience, Vanessa was the first person I thought of when it came time to plan our wedding and specifically our first look. It takes a special kind of person to feel comfortable being vulnerable in front of, whether posing nude or standing with your soon to be spouse in one of the most emotional moments of your life. We trusted her completely and she guided us through it all with grace and calm, allowing us to stay fully present in each moment.
She captured everything perfectly from the details in the bridal suite, to the getting-ready chaos, slipping on the dress, and of course, our first look. She was also incredibly flexible with last-minute schedule changes and all the unpredictability that wedding mornings inevitably bring.
