Hi, I’m Vanessa

If you were to ask my mother, she would tell you that I've had a camera in hand for most of my life, preserving as many moments as I could. Eleven years into my professional photography journey, I now specialize in wedding and boudoir photography; two genres rooted deeply in connection, emotion, and trust.

I studied photojournalism at SAIT, but quickly realized the more invasive elements of the field didn’t align with how I wanted to interact with people. Instead, I found my place documenting stories and intimate self-expression in a way that felt honest and human. Shooting boudoir, in particular, has taught me so much about vulnerability, light, angles, and the importance of feeling seen and safe in front of the lens.

I work primarily with natural light, and have curated an editing style that often leans warm and moody, accompanied by soft highlights. Travel is always on the table for me, and I am always eager to experience everything life throws my way.
